CAS Flowers

Several challenges caught my attention so I set out to make this CAS (clean and simple) floral card that would work with all of them.

I used a stamp from Simon Says Stamp kit. I did a little masking to add the appearance of dimension. A CAS card doesn’t have to be one layer, but generally that helps achieve the CAS look. It’s not always easy though, as I’m always tempted to add more layers or embellishments!

I colored with Copic markers and added some clear Stickles to the flowers, then embossed the sentiment with some glittery black embossing powder.

I would like to join in the following challenges:

First was CAS on Friday #186 with a theme of “nature.”

Rainbow Card Challenge #20 – Radiant Ruby

Less is More #425 – Summer Flowers

The Flower Challenge #47 – Add Sparkle

Shopping Our Stash #426 – KISS (Keep it simple sister!)
