Lots of challenges right now are featuring rainbow or rainbow options, along with a birthday theme. It takes some extra planning and brainstorming (and of course it helps to have a lot of supplies on hand – you never know what you may need!) but I ended up with something I think worked good for all of them.
I used stamps from My Favorite Things, I knew the scarves would be perfect for adding the rainbows. I cut them out and went around the hands (paws?) so I could have them go over the window frames.
The first challenge I played with is AAA Birthday #16, which is a tic-tac-toe board. I used the bottom row: rainbow, window, and patterned paper. My window was made by a slimline die from Whimsy stamps, and I cut it from paper printed with light snowflakes on it.
The next challenge I played with is Seize the Birthday #197 which has a theme to use rainbow colors on your card.
Inkspirational #220 – this also has a theme of rain or rainbows!
Next is the challenge at Inspired by… #138 – Use a punny sentiment
I also would like to play along with the challenge at Cupcake Inspirations, they are celebrating their 500th challenge!
Finally, the last challenge I am entering is at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge – this week the theme is “Oh so cute!”
