Anniversary Flowers

Yesterday I was playing with some embossing paste and a stencil, and this is the second card I finished this morning with one of the backgrounds I made. I used a stamp from Honey Bee Stamps (colored with Copic markers and fussy cut) and simply mounted it on my background. There were several challenges I used for ideas and colors, and even for choosing the image. Luckily I have a HUGE supply of floral stamps to pick from!

Joining these challenges:

As You Like It Challenge – What is your favorite coloring medium, and why? – I usually go to my Copic markers for many reasons, such as having a large color selection, I have learned to shade and blend to get realistic results, and I just enjoy detailed coloring. The other reason is that I am just not as experienced or comfortable with pencils or water coloring, although I really should try using them more often!
