Vellum Flowers

Time for two new challenges today, and I have one card that I designed for both. First is challenge #217 which is starting at Always Fun Challenges. This week we are looking for any cards that feature “LAYERS.” The challenge runs one week, so head on over to the blog to get all the details and to link up a card or project.

The other challenge starting today is at Double Trouble. There are several parts to this challenge, and there is a random prize drawing, so the more you do the more chances you have of winning! The graphic has a summary of what the challenge is all about. This challenge runs for 2 weeks, so if you want to join in you can link your card or project up until June 20.

For Thing 1 (and the only requirement for entering) is to create something appropriate for a wedding, anniversary, engagement, etc. If you want to take on the challenge from Thing 3 then you need to use the photo from the current challenge at If You Give a Crafter a Cookie as inspiration. Thing 2 is giving you the option to join in the challenge there as well.

The QUICK version details about my card: flower stamps from Altenew set called “Dahlia Blossoms” – heat embossed on different colored vellum with silver powder – fussy cut – arranged on base cut with thin strip die from My Favorite Things

Additional Challenges:

Word Art Wednesday #494/495 – anything goes

Crafting Happiness #99 – anything goes

Fab ‘n’ Funky #526 – Go Girly

Krafty Chicks #562 – Stamp Act
