Make the Cards Challenge #26

Welcome and thank you for stopping by! Today I am sharing a card that was made for the new challenge starting at Make the Cards Challenge (#26). This week we have a sketch for you. Feel free to interpret it any way you like, using any theme, techniques, or products you want. You can link up your creations through Monday, 8/2. We hope to see you join in!

The QUICK and SIMPLE details: I used a piece of background paper from Stampin’ Up, it has a very pretty shiny/foiled pattern through it. I love the color and thought it would look great with purple, so that is what I used to color the flowers with. The flowers are from Technique Tuesday’s stamp of the month club. I have been a member for about 4 years now, so you can imagine how many flower stamps I have! They all come with several nice sentiments too. I added the strips and sentiment to mimic the design of the sketch.

Additional Challenges:

Passion for Markers #602 -make it bloom
