Krafty Chicks #616 – CAS

Happy Krafty Chicks Thursday! We are on the third Thursday of the month which means it is our “Clean and Simple” challenge this week. I decided to use a Christmas theme for my card, but any theme is OK, as long as your design is clean and simple.

I used an old Stampin’ Up stamp from a set called “Daydream Medallions.” I saved a photo a very long time ago that used this stamp in a similar way, but I have no idea where it came from or who had posted it originally. Over the years I have made several versions of this idea in different colors and with different embellishments. For this one I heat embossed the sentiment and used foil and glitter paper for the stars.

  4. Wow, I would have never thought of using the “Daydream Medallions” stamp for a Christmas wreath. What a wonderful idea, Melanie! The color combo is icy and beautiful, and the shine and sparkle of the stars is amazing. Thank you so much for sharing this cool beauty with us at CAS Christmas!
