Krafty Chicks #619 – Stamp Act

Happy Krafty Chicks Thursday! Today we are starting our Week 1 challenge – “Stamp Act.” Just include any stamped (or digital) image on your card or project, easy as can be!

The background of my card was made with a mask I made by cutting a piece of paper with a curved edge, then lining them up to blend the inks one color at a time. I saw this technique on a card made with flowers as the focal point, but thought it would be go well with the Newton’s Nook image. I have big plans to try the same technique with one color to create an ombre effect, we’ll see how long it takes to actually get to it!

This month we have Ester Asbury joining us as our guest designer, you can check out her amazing work at her blog, Shoregirl’s Creations. We hope you’ll visit her blog as well as the rest of the chicks:

Leanne – Banking on Crafts

Diane – Ink Outside the Box

Lori – Caffeinated Creativity

Happy Crafting and hope to see you join us in the Krafty Chick’s gallery this week!
