Cardz 4 Guys #313 – Birthday Card for a Child

Today’s card is for challenge #313 starting today at Cardz 4 Guys. The theme (my choice this time!) is birthday card for a child, and of course that also means for a boy.

I created a fun fold card, when closed has a single star in the middle, but when open looks like the photo below. I did some stenciling on the front and inside behind the elephant. The image is from My Favorite Things.

Joining in these additional challenges:

Creative Creases #48 – anything goes with a fun fold

Pammie’s Inky Pinkies #2301 – anything goes

Double D Challenges – anything for a birthday

Crafting Happiness #138 – celebrations

  2. I love how the stars on the sides fold into one star when the card is closed! What a fun and cool look, and that stenciling behind the elephant inside is another great idea! Love this!

  3. Oh, Melanie, I just love how you made this wonderful birthday card! Adding the star on the fold line is genius and I really love the stenciling, too. Thank you for playing at Creative Creases Challenge and hope you can join in again soon.
