Color My Heart Color Dare #390

This is one of the current challenges at the Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge. Coloring challenges are always fun for me because I try to pick at least one color that I normally don’t go to. In this case I picked the peach. I use colors close to peacock and glacier a lot (probably too much!) so I thought adding peach to it would look ok.

I simply stamped a wreath like image (old Stampin’ Up set) and added some punched hearts around it. To make the background of my card base I stamped the little images with Versamark ink, which just gives that tone-on-tone look without adding any more color. The sentiment was stamped with Distress Oxide ink and heat embossed with clear powder to give it a little shine.

  1. Love the combination of bold and soft colors…beautifully done and great idea to add the hearts around the wreath. Beautiful card. Thanks for sharing with us at Color Dare.

  2. These three colours are some of my favourites too (I think my sample was in these colours). lovely card. I liked how you added the peach to spice things up for yourself. Thank you for joining us at Colour My Heart Colour Dare Challenge. I hope you can join us again soon.
