The Alphabet Challenge – D for Dry Embossing

The new challenge at The Alphabet Challenge features the letter D – for “Dry Embossing.”

This little girl image is a digital stamp made by Mo Manning. After I colored it with Copic markers and cut it out I just wasn’t sure what kind of background to put it on. I decided to go with just white, however I split the panel up and dry embossed each section with a different folder. It’s amazing how some added texture can change the look of a plain white background!

  1. This is so cute! I really like the cut panel you created using the embossed piece! It creates depth in the scene without using color! Awesome!
