Pretty Pink Flowers

While wasting time looking at Pinterest I came across a card with this different, but very simple, fold. I thought instead of pinning it I would get to work and make one!

I used the challenge at the Paper Players (#493) which is a tic- tac- toe board to get started:

I used the diagonal: flowers – die cut – embossing

Here you can see the card when it’s open:

All the paper was from my stash, and the flower image is from Technique Tuesday, which I colored with Copic markers. It’s a very easy layout to work with, and a great design to use up some coordinating papers!

I would like to submit this card to these additional challenges:

  1. Well certainly, and speaking for myself, it’s always a good thing to use up some of our pattern paper stash! Love those you chose and the embossed panel behind the pretty flowers. The fold is intriguing (Z fold under the top panel?) and works well to show the interior sentiment when open. Thanks for sharing this lovely card with us at The Paper Players this week!

  2. Wow! This is one beautiful card! I love this unique fold. I’ll have to see if I can figure out the scorelines. This is such a perfect way to use up coordinating paper!!! Thank you for sharing with The Paper Players!
