Watercolor Flowers

These flowers are made by Rubberneckers, and are actually from a two stamp set – the black outline, and a solid flower shape that overlays the outline. I colored the solid stamp with markers, barely overlapping orange and yellow. After spritzing with water and stamping you get a nice, blended, watercolor look. I used mixed media paper, as that absorbs the water and allows for the color to spread a little better.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

ModSquad Challenges – watercolor stamping

Festive Friday #61 – National Orange Blossom Day – I chose the following three words for my card: flowers, orange, yellow

Watercooler Wednesday #275 – All about occasions
