Alphabet Challenge – J for Jewels

The new challenge at the Alphabet Challenge features the letter “J” and the theme is “Jewels/Jewelry.” This was not an easy one for me! I was really at a loss for what to do, and after looking through my stamps (which is no small task) I found NOTHING! I then remembered that I had some Stampin’ Up paper that had some jewels on it, and luckily I was able to find it in my stash.

I kept this one really simple – mounted the paper on some silver glitter paper, and heat embossed the “Happy Anniversary” sentiment with some glittery silver powder. I used a fancy scallop/stitched die cut from My Favorite Things to frame the sentiment.

The challenge runs for two weeks, hope to see what you can come up with!

  1. Hi Melanie! I was just like you with this theme…didn’t really know what to do either – but you hit this one out of the park! Keeping it simple and letting that pretty paper shine really produced an awesome card! Nice job!
