Set Sail

The new challenge at Cardz 4 Guys (#253) has started, and the theme is to create a card with a monochromatic color scheme (neutrals/black/white are allowed).

I got out my Stampin’ Up “Sailing Home” set so I could go with a shades of blue. When looking through my papers and inks and embellishments I was surprised just how many shades of blue there are! I was also surprised how many blues just don’t look so good together. However, after a lot of back and forth I found some I liked.

The challenge at Cardz 4 Guys is for two weeks, we’d love to see what you can come up with!

Additional challenges I would like to enter are the sketch challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments (#347). I used this as inspiration for my design.

The Male Room (#142) – theme of “travel.”

Krafty Chicks (#523) – Stamp Act – must have a stamped image on your card

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge – theme is “Stamp It!”

Crafter’s Cafe (#250) – theme is “Anything Goes”

CCEE (#2036) – masculine card
