World Space Week for Festive Friday

The new challenge at Festive Friday (#FF0068) is in observation of World Space Week, and the 10 items on the Inspo List are ideas inspired by that. However, the challenge does not require that your card has anything to do with World Space Week! All that is required is that you use a minimum of 3 of the items from the list as inspiration for your card. The possibilities are endless! Here is the Inspo list:

For my card I chose stars, holographic, planes, purple, and blue. I used a stamp set by My Favorite Things for the images and sentiment, and created the “moon” with some distress oxide inks. I found a great way to add some texture was to crumple up the paper, then use a blending brush with a little dark ink on it to bring out the lines. To make the face masks I added some glossy accents, and finished it off with a few holographic stars in the background.

  1. This card scene is so darn cute! I love the crumpled paper moon technique, I’ll need to give that a try sometime 🙂 Thank you so much for sharing this with the Paper Girls!
