T-RRific Birthday

Time for a new challenge at Cardz 4 Guys (#254) and the theme this time is “Dragons or Dinosaurs.” Yikes! Not a theme I really was prepared for. However, it was an excuse to do a little shopping and look for something I could use. I came across these dies from Spellbinders and have to say that I thought they were kind of cute. So of course I bought them!

I looked at some other challenges for ideas and inspiration to figure out what to do with these cute little guys, so here’s where I came up with the ideas for my design:

AAA Birthday #17 – theme of animals/critters – I am thinking a dinosaur would count?!?

CAS Mix Up – Embossing with dies – I used a die cut of some birthday candles to impress around the dinosaurs. I love how that adds some texture and a faint image, but keeps the space looking clean.

CAS on Friday #189 – include a number – I have a friend whose grandson is turning 4 so I die cut a 4 out of one of the dinosaurs. I know he will be impressed when I show him the dinosaur knew how old he is!

Krafty Chicks #525 – anything goes CAS

Craft Rocket #74 – card for a baby/child

Cutie Pie Challenge #151 – birthday

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge – use only die cuts and 100% pure coincidence the featured brand is Spellbinders!
