Favorite Things

Welcome and thank you for stopping by today! The card I’m sharing is for the new challenge at Always Fun (#197) and the theme/challenge is to use your favorite products. I do have some favorite stamps (lots of flowers) and also use a lot of different framing dies, however, by far the one thing I use most and would easily call my favorite product is my Copic markers.

For this card I used a stamp made by Hero Arts and colored it with my Copic markers. I added a friendship sentiment to go with the “friendship” theme from the Little Red Wagon Challenge (#584). It needed a little more background so I drew and colored some hearts, then added some black paint splatters. I always am hesitant to do that as I’ve had some very bad experiences with huge paint globs landing in the wrong place, or instead of splatters getting “strands” of paint. Aside from one kind of big spot I was happy with how this attempt turned out. (Phew!)

I would like to join in these additional challenges:

Color My Heart Color Dare #426 – Choose 3 (flamingo, lagoon, lemonade)

Inspired by….”Everything is a bouquet” (#157)

Creative Knockouts #384 – “Something to Say” (include a sentiment)
