Smiley Flowers

Today’s card is for the new challenge at the Paper Funday Challenges (#27) where the theme is always “Anything Goes.” I didn’t play along with the optional twist, but if you wish to it’s “Make it Green.” This challenge will be open until 3/28 to link up your project to the gallery.

The challenge has two sponsors this month, Vectoria Designs and QKR Stampede, which is where the “Flower Pots” image I used is from. I just loved the fun, smiley flowers!

One great thing about digital images is that you can print them whatever size you want. I wanted to make a 5″ x 7″ card so I sized my image to fit the whole card front. All I did was color it with Copic markers, used a stitched die cut around it, added another layer for a little contrast, then mounted it on paper to match the flowers. I also printed an extra image on the same color paper as the card base so I could have it to cut out the little pieces on the flower pots and add them to my colored image.
