Rejoice in Spring

Hello! I have a clean and simple card I made for a guest designer post at the Cut It Up! Challenge that starts today. The theme is “Flowers and/or Butterflies.” Besides following the theme the only other requirement is that you must use a die cut on your card.

The image I used is a flower from Waffle Flower, which I stamped in gray and colored with Copic markers. I added the sentiment and then die cut with a square. I also used a cover plate die to add the stitching to the card base. These type of dies can really add to the background without taking away from the focal point and have a whole different look than you get from an embossing folder.

I would like to join in these additional challenges:

Modsquad – springtime

Sweet Stampers #54 – Easter/Spring

Make My Monday #144 – anything goes Clean and Simple

Creative Craft Cottage #138 – anything goes Clean and Simple

Stamplorations – anything goes Clean and Simple
