Earth Day for Festive Friday

April 22 is “Earth Day” and that is the festivity we are recognizing for our new challenge at Festive Friday. To play along all you need to do is create a card or project that uses any 3 or more of the items from the Inspo list, you may choose to follow the festivity, or you may come up with any theme or idea you want – that’s totally up to you!

Items I used were green, blue, and earth/globe.

The background of my card was made by heat embossing in gold a world map stamp (old Stampin’ Up) and then using some blending brushes to add the green and blue. I used a paper distresser to roughen up the edges before adding it to the card base. Finally I used a stamp from a different Stampin’ Up set (Hold on to Hope) as I thought the sentiment fit perfectly when thinking about our incredible planet!
