Hoppy Birthday

Hello! There are two new challenges starting today, one at Always Fun Challenges (#212) and the other at Double Trouble (#83). The card I made fits the requirements for both!

At Always Fun the challenge is to use one old stamp set and one new stamp set. I purchased the waves background stamp from Honey Bee Stamps but haven’t used it yet, so that was my new set. I heat embossed with white powder then used blue ink with water to color the paper. The frogs are from My Favorite Things, and those have been around a while and used quite a bit.

At Double Trouble the challenge from Thing 1 is to make a “fun fold” card – any kind of fold that isn’t your single score down the middle. The optional challenge from Thing 3 is to include a frog image on your card. If you do both of those then you can enter your card in Thing 2’s partner challenge over at Crafting Happiness. The challenge there is anything goes, and the optional twist is to include a frog.

Below you can see the card flat so it can be put in an envelope, on the right it is shown when opened and set on it’s base so it can stand up. If you are interested in getting the measurements feel free to send a message using the “contact me” link or leave a comment below!

I would like to join in these other challenges:
Creative Creases – anything goes with more than one fold

2 Crafty Crazy Critters #50 – anything goes with a critter

Creative Knockouts #399 – tic tac toe (top row – fancy fold, heat embossing, color blue)
