Mother’s Day Butterfly

Hello, and thanks for checking out my card for the new challenge at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. We are on sketch #420, and the challenge will run for one week. Check out the blog for all the details!

I followed the sketch very closely this week and I chose my colors from the challenge at Color My Heart Color Dare (#442). I used sapphire, wisteria, and sangria, along with white. I have to admit that I had kind of a hard time with these, but I guess that’s part of why trying out different challenges forces you to go outside your comfort zone!

  1. Such a nice card! I love the embossing to the top half only. I have a thing for hexagons at the moment so that stands out to me! And that butterfly is super! Thanks for playing along with Color My Heart Color Dare. X

  2. This is a clean and delightfully accurate design. I like the embossed backdrop and your pop of Sangria is the perfect touch for your butterfly. Thank you for joining us at CMHCD.

  3. Lovely card, I love the silver shimmer and butterfly, also the hexagon and embossing looks great. Thank you for joining us at Colour Dare, I hope you can join us again soon.
