Singing a Birthday Melody

Time for a new sketch over at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge (#422). You can see the sketch below, let it inspire you in any way, all we ask is that in your finished card or project we can see the sketch represented. Feel free to rotate or flip it too!

I used a background stamp to make the little piece of music note paper. The rest of the dies and images are all from My Favorite Things. Putting it together was easy since I really just followed the sketch.

The colors I chose were from the challenge at Color My Heart Color Dare (#444) which is a tic-tac-toe challenge. I used the bottom row, glacier, mink, and sapphire.

  1. Whoa, I had to do a double-take when I saw your picture. You look exactly like my sister.. It is uncanny and know you have a twin living in Oregon. Crazy! Okay now to your fabulous card. I can list all the things I love about. Is it the embossed background? Or maybe the wonderful sheet music or possibly those cute birds. I just love it all! Your colors are fantastic and I still can’t get over those birds. Thank you for joining us at CMHCD!

  3. This is beautiful!! I LOVE that embossed background! Your stamped music panel is perfect; I thought it was an actual piece of patterned paper!
