Father’s Day Fishing Card

Hello, thanks for stopping by today. I have been busy working on some Father’s Day cards, and this is a clean and simple one I made for the new challenge at Stinkin’ Inkers – the theme for June is “You’re the Man!” We are looking for anything that would be appropriate for a guy – young or old! The challenge goes for the whole month so visit the blog if you would like to join in the challenge.

The stamps are from a set by Rubberneckers. Since I wanted to keep this as a one layer card but felt like it needed a little more detail, I used a large rectangle die to emboss around the edges. This was done with an embossing pad to keep it from cutting. I used my corner punch to round off the corners.

I would like to play along at these additional challenges:

AAA Cards #191– one layer card

Ellibelle’s Corner – anything goes opt. “CAS”

Cupcake Inspirations #520 – Father’s Day/card for special guy

The House That Stamps Built #J221 -All About the Boys

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge – Masculine

Watercooler Wednesday #317 -All things masculine
