Sunday Cards

Thanks for visiting today! I wanted to try out some stamps that I haven’t used yet, and get a few more cards ready for my next vendor fair. Using the different challenges is a great way to give me ideas for what I want to make.

I started with the challenge over at Color My Heart Color Dare #451 – Crazy 8 (choose any 3 blocks in a row – I used New England Ivy and just a touch of brown for the neutral with the free space in the middle- I also used my 4th and 5th blocks with lagoon and candy apple). The stamps from this set are from My Favorite Thing, first time they have been inked!

My second card was inspired by the challenge at C.R.A.F.T. Challenge #605 which has a theme of graduation. I combined that with the challenge at the Color Throwdown #650, which has the colors black, gray, and yellow this week.

My third card was inspired by the new challenge at AAA Cards #194 which is asking for a “Twinchie” with the optional theme of Christmas. I wasn’t sure what a “Twinchie” was, but basically it means you have to keep all elements of your design within a 2 inch space. I saw the challenge at Just Add Ink #562 and it brought to mind the set from My Favorite Things that I only used once last year. Since the images are pretty small it worked for both of these challenges. I also stuck with just the color over at the Rainbow Card Challenge #13, chamingly cherry.

Additional challenges:

My Time to Craft #461 – anything with ribbons or bows

My Time to Craft Christmas #13 – Clean and Simple
