Summer Colors for Make the Cards

Greetings and thank you for visiting! Today I have a card that I made for the new challenge at Make the Cards Challenge (#24). This week we have a color challenge, which has a bright colored “summer fun” look to it, however you may use any theme you want, it doesn’t have to be related to summer. As you can see I went with a birthday theme this time. If you would like to join in with a creation of your own, please visit the blog for all the details and the link up. The challenge will be open through Monday, July 19.

The QUICK and SIMPLE details: The stamp I used is from a recent monthly club set by Spellbinders, as are the coordinating dies. I created the background with paper strips of the challenge colors, and colored the candles with the same colors. I trimmed and mounted the finished piece with foam squares on a white card base.
