Anniversary Birds

A Sunday morning card to share, which was inspired by the challenge at Color My Heart Color Dare (#454). I loved the colors in the photo, so I tried to mimic them with distress oxide inks. I used a background stamp that I heat embossed with silver pearl powder, then wet the inks on a craft mat, and smooshed the color on to the background. I wanted to tie it in with the photo so I cut two similar bird silhouettes to add to the anniversary sentiment. I think they are “love birds” celebrating their anniversary!
