Try It On Tuesday

Hello! Today I am sharing a card that I created as a guest designer for the challenge starting at Try it on Tuesday. The theme is “keep it simple.” This is a fun challenge to follow because they always give such great inspiration with so many unique ideas, different techniques, and various mediums.

The QUICK and SIMPLE details: My card was quite simple, but partly because I used a scrap from an alcohol ink background I had in my “bits and pieces” basket. I cut the black floral die cut and mounted it over the scrap. It looked a little too plain just on the black, so with an embossing folder I added some texture to the background. I used gold embossing powder to add the sentiment.
