Happy Holidays

I’m happy to be back for my second post as a guest designer at the Christmas Craft Creations challenge. The theme for the whole month of August is to use non-traditional colors for your card or project. If you would like to join in please visit their blog for all the details!

The QUICK and SIMPLE details for my card: The image creator is unknown to me, it is an older wood stamp that I borrowed from a friend, and the markings are not legible. I colored it with Copic markers and fussy cut it. I thought purple would look good, and I paired it with a lighter aqua type of blue. The large snowflakes in the background were cut on white glitter paper and colored them with a shade of purple so they would match the stocking. I used a cover die for the background, cut once with the solid color and once with the patterned paper. I then used the pieces from the patterned paper to inlay into the frame. Finally I stamped the sentiment to fit in the corner.
