Thanksgiving Slimline

Today we start a new challenge over at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge (#436). You can see the sketch below:

The QUICK and SIMPLE details: I found a piece of patterned paper that I thought was so “fallish” and pretty for the background, so I matched it up with some card stock. I used a set from Stampin’ Up! (“Forever Fern”) to make the leaves and berries. Since they are not solid colored images I used a sponge to give them a little extra color. I used some gold thread to add some bows to the leaves.

If you would like to join in the challenge please visit the blog and link up your project by Sunday, September 5th. We would love to see how you use the sketch!

Additional Challenges:

Cut It Up! #233 – use a sketch (pictured above)

Scrapping4FunChallenges #199 – more than 2 layers

613 Avenue Create #8 – using color palette #4
