The new challenge starting today at Cardz 4 Guys (#279) has a theme of “Use some Metal.” You are free to interpret that any way you want, just make sure the card or project you create is suitable for a guy!
The QUICK and SIMPLE details: The background was made with gilding flakes. I used a piece of an adhesive sheet which I spread and burnished with gold and silver gilding flakes. I dry embossed it and then used a Stazon (fast drying, permanent ink) to swipe across it to get the distressed look. The pocket watch and sentiment were heat embossed with gold, the stamp set was made by Technique Tuesday.
