Double Trouble #98

Welcome, and thanks for stopping by! Today we are starting our new challenge at Double Trouble (#98). This time it’s our “Something, Anything, Everything” challenge, where you are free to enter any creation you want.

If you would like to take on the optional twist of Thing 3, then use the photo as inspiration (see the second block in the graphic below, or visit the Double Trouble blog) to include anything that brings to mind.

Finally, we aren’t partnering with any one challenge site, but you are free to join in any challenge at one of our past partners. I chose the challenge going on at Cupcake Inspirations (#533) which is a color challenge of red, white, and cream.

The QUICK and SIMPLE details for my card: I started with a snowflake background stamp that I heat embossed with some white, sparkly powder on red cardstock. I used a scalloped die to cut it to fit over the white card base. The images are from a set by Gerda Steiner designs, which I colored with Copic markers. I finished by adding some clear glitter glue over the hats and some shimmer pen over the black letters.

Joining in these additional challenges:

Sisterhood of Crafters – Music/something musical

Gerda Steiner Designs Monthly Challenge – anything goes w/GSD stamps

The Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge #160 – anything goes for Christmas

Peace on Earth #4 – anything goes for Christmas

Send A Smile 4 Kids – holiday cards for kids

  1. Your clowder of kittens is so sweet, Melanie! The soft color of the kittens is a perfect contrast to the bright red and white paper.

  2. Such a sweet card! So perfectly detailed. Thank you for playing with us at the Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge and hope you can join in again soon.
