Double Trouble #104

Happy Monday! Today I have a fun fold card that I made for the new challenge at Double Trouble (#104).

If you would like to play along all that’s required is that you follow Thing 1 by recognizing spring. The optional twist by Thing 3 is to create a fun fold card, and if you do that you can join in Thing 2’s challenge – which is to enter your card with our partner challenge, Creative Creases.

My fold is just a version of an easel fold, but what I like about this one is that when the card is not open it looks just like a regular card, and fits easily into an envelope. The image is from Pink Fresh Studio, and colored with Copic markers. I found the sentiment in a set from Divinity Designs, and put it on a raised label punch so it could be used to hold up the easel.

  2. Wow, Melanie, this card is so pretty! I just love easel cards and this one is a variation I don’t think I’ve seen before. I agree with you that the style incorporates the inside in a totally different way than the typical one. Thank you for playing in my Creative Creases Challenge and hope you can join in again soon.
