Greetings and hope your week is off to a good start! Today I have a card to share with you that is for the new challenge starting at Double Trouble (#105).
The only requirement to join in is whatever Thing 1 is asking, and this time it’s to “Bring on the green.” You can use other colors but the focus should be on green. If you want to go with Thing 3’s optional twist then include some plaid or gingham or checks on your project. Finally, for Thing 2, the Double Dare is to enter your project at Heart2Heart challenge. (They have lifted the requirement of using Close to My Heart products for this challenge, visit their blog for exact dates and details.)
I first cut a border with a new Spellbinders die (from their Hemstitich collection). I then used a stamp/die set by Taylored Expressions to cut a bunch of shamrocks. I used some plaid paper so I could meet the optional twist, some gold to brighten it up, and added a little texture to some of them. I found the right size sentiment to add to another piece of the plaid paper, and then started arranging it all on my base. I’m not sure why it just didn’t look right no matter how I put them, I must have switched them around about 10 times before I ended up with the final layout!
