I recently participated in a virtual card making event in which we registered for many classes and got the materials to create all kinds of cards. My goal is to use all of the different sets at least once before I put them away, so these are some of my cards made with a set by LDRS Creative called “Just a Note.”
The challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches (#463) was my inspiration for the first one. We actually made a card kind of similar during the event, but I tweaked it to include just the challenge colors and closely follow the sketch. I added a few matching hearts to give it a little more interest.
Also joining in at Sweet Stampers Challenge (#66) – CAS
I used the sketch at the Paper Players (#584) to come up with another card using the same set. I changed some of the colors to join in the challenge at Sunday Stamps (#279) and added a few more pieces of fruit for this one!
My final card was made for the challenge at As You Like It Challenge, where the theme is to answer the question is “to recycle or buy new? and why is that your choice?” I have to say that I really enjoy using new stuff more, even though I do save things I know I can find a use for later too. It’s just kind of exciting for me to see what I can come up with when something is new or to color new images the first time.
