Double Trouble #109

Hello to all my crafty friends! I am excited to share my card for today’s new challenge starting over at Double Trouble (#109). This time we have a color challenge by Thing 1 – with an option to use either use a rainbow color scheme or to go with predominately pink. If you meet one of those challenges you qualify to enter the challenge

If you want to go a step further for an extra entry into the random prize drawing Thing 3 is looking for adding a fantasy or make believe item to your card or project.

Finally, we are partnering with the challenge at Colorful Options, and they are looking for mostly pink, but for this challenge will also let you join them with a rainbow color scheme as well.

I made the background with some distress oxide inks that I brushed with some water to help them blend. The images and sentiments are from a set by Jane’s Doodles. To add a little more detail and some more of the rainbow colors I punched some little flowers to line up on the grass.

  2. Oh, Melanie, love all the magical things on your card that would make any little girl happy… a princess, her pet dragon, her very own castle, and a rainbow sky! Great “grassy knolls” to pull all the elements together, too! -Donna

  3. What a wonderful, fantasy scene – love the colours and the elements you added. I could just see this being in a children’s book to illustrate a story. That rainbow background is such a terrific way to incorporate so many rainbow colours.
