Double Trouble #111

Hope you are ready for some trouble – today is the start of a new challenge at the Double Trouble Challenge (#111). If you want to join us all that’s required is to meet the challenge of Thing 1, and that is to include kraft paper/cardstock on your card or project.

If you want to take on the optional challenge of Thing 3, include dots and/or stripes as well.

Finally, if you met the optional challenge of dots and/or stripes, Thing 3 is double daring you to also link up your entry at our partner for this challenge: the Crafter’s Cafe Challenge (#285).

The photo below summarizes the challenge, but head on over to the Double Trouble blog for all the details. (Don’t forget there are random prizes that are waiting to be won too!)

My card is a fancy fold, below you can see how it looks when open. I used patterned papers from Stampin’ Up, and the stamps are made by Pink and Main. The hexagons are lightly stenciled, all coloring was done with Copic markers.

I would like to join these additional challenges:

Creative Creases #32 – anything goes with more than one fold

Little Red Wagon #653 – Make it Bloom

The Sisterhood of Crafters – Think Pink

Creations In Pink #46 – anything goes w/mostly pink

  3. Melanie, what a love Double Z-Fold card! I really like the light stenciling on the front! One of my favorite techniques is to let the images extend out beyond the frame of the panel, and you’ve done expertly! I’m sure this is going to be a great inspiration for our Double Trouble participants to create some really interesting designs!!! -Donna
