Hello! Thanks for visiting my blog. Today I am sharing a card that was created to give you a little inspiration for the new challenge starting at Double Trouble Challenge (#114).

This time Thing 1 is looking for a background that you’ve made yourself – whether it’s embossed, stenciled, stamped, etc. – just not plain or patterned paper! There is an optional challenge from Thing 3, which is to use one of the sketches from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. Since this is a weekly challenge the sketch below will be open until June 26th, and on June 27th sketch 479 will start. (You can see the post HERE.) If you participated in the optional challenge then you can link up your card at Atlantic Hearts as well which meets the requirement of Thing 2.
The background I made was done with some chunky glitter paste added with a stencil. I trimmed it down to reflect the sketch, and added some silver foil paper beneath it. The image is from a Stampin’ Up set, “Healing Hugs.” Because of the colors I decided to make this into a sympathy card.

That foil pulls out a lot of sparkly color from the glitter paste… so pretty. Makes a love sympathy card.
Gorgeous glitter pasts on the dark card stock! And it just goes to perfection with the silver added.
