Rockin’ Snowman Card

It’s Sunday morning and since I’m feeling somewhat caught up on things I decided to get some “work” done in my craft room! I have never made a rocker card before, but saw the challenge at Just My Girls (#640) and thought it looked like something interesting to try.

I went with the colors form this week’s challenge at the Paper Players (#559).

I was kind of surprised that there isn’t really anything tricky about making a rocker card, it’s simply just a circle folded in half. I used the biggest circle die cut I had, then cut a couple more to make the snow banks. I added the sentiment then dry embossed them. The snowman is from Whimsy Stamps, which I colored with colored pencils and fussy cut. I found using a black colored pencil around the edges covered up any white that was showing. I used some glitter glue on the hat to add a little sparkle.
