Festive Friday #FF0121 – National Family PJ Day

It’s Festive Friday! We have a new challenge starting today, and this time our festivity is “National Family PJ Day.” We used that to come up with ten items for our Inspo List, and if you would like to join the challenge just choose any 3 (or more) of those items to use on your card or project. Whether or not you follow the theme of the festivity is totally up to you!

My card today features some older Stampin’ Up stamps I’ve had for a long time. The teddy bear is a layering set that retired several years ago, and the stamp I made the background with is dated 2007. I don’t even know where I got it, because I didn’t even stamp back then, so I’m guessing at a yard sale or thrift shop. I lined it up with my Stamp-a-ma-jig (positioner for wood block stamps) to create my own background. It only took me three tries to get it acceptably even and straight!

  1. Great job with your background Melanie – I thought it was a piece of DSP until I read your post! Love your vintage bear too – very dapper with his gingham bow!

  2. Adorable, Melanie! I absolutely LOVE the background you stamped. And that little bear…so sweet with his gingham bow tie! Have a wonderful weekend!

  3. Melanie, I am in love with this teddy and his little bow – I want to hug him! Fabulous paper you chose for the challenge, too!
