Krafty Chicks Challenge #641 – Christmas

Happy Krafty Chicks Thursday! I am hosting our challenge this week, which is our Christmas challenge. Of course you can enter any card that is for the holiday or winter season as well.

I made the background of my card with a stencil that I covered with some embossing paste and then used some distress oxide inks to add color. I blotted off parts of the embossing paste with some water to give some shading. I also sprayed it with some shimmer spray, which doesn’t even show up a tiny bit in the photo! The stamps are from a set I have had for a very long time, but there was not anything printed on them as to who they were made by. I colored and cut the images before mounting them on the white backing with the sentiment. A single red heart completed my card!

We are so happy to have two guest chicks this month, Karen from Karens Card Korner and Allisa from Rocky Mountain Paper Crafts, so be sure to stop by their blogs, and the other chicks blogs to get some more ideas and inspiration for this weeks challenge!
