Alphabet Challenge – V for Vellum

The Alphabet Challenge is starting a new challenge today. Our theme is “V” for vellum. The only requirement is that you must use vellum on your card. There are a lot of techniques and different ways to use vellum, so take a look at the design teams inspiration for some additional ideas!

I used vellum to stamp a large background stamp and heat embossed it with gold. I then chose some darker color alcohol ink markers to color the reverse side. I left a few areas open and used a white backing behind the colored piece, this really helped the color pop while keeping the translucent look of the vellum.
