Can You Handle the Pressure has a new challenge starting today! This challenge requires that you must use an embossing folder while creating your card. The theme is always “anything goes, ” however there’s also an optional twist you can play along with each time if you want. For this challenge the optional twist is “leaves.”

My leaves were made with some water color “smooshing” with different distress oxide inks. When dry I heat embossed with gold, then cut them out. I used the same technique for the background, and when dry used a folder to add the dimension. I added a gold border to give some contrast and make the background show up against the card base. I finished it off with a sentiment that explains why I love making fall cards so much – I grew up in the midwest and the colors when the trees change are always so beautiful!
