Festive Friday Challenge #127 – Galentine’s Day

It’s Festive Friday! We have a new challenge starting today, and this time our festivity is “Galentine’s Day.” We used that to come up with ten items for our Inspo List, and if you would like to join the challenge just choose any 3 (or more) of those items to use on your card or project. Whether or not you follow the theme of the festivity is totally up to you!

The items I chose for my card were hearts, pink, and purple. The background was stenciled right on the card base, and then I cut out a heart from it. I then embossed a white piece of cardstock to go behind the opening. After I added the hearts and sentiment I felt it looked a little plain so I added some hand drawn stitching. Below you can see how I used the cut out heart to finish off the inside.

  1. How clever this is Melanie with the inside and cover design! I love that the sentiment looks like an iced cookie too!! Vicky x

  2. Melanie, I love the cutout heart and that it is different on both sides showcasing this fabulous DSP. The large sentiment is perfect and the little hearts are a wonderful finishing touch. Fabulous card
