Send A Smile 4 Kids – Winter Cards

Hello! I am excited to share a card today that is for the new challenge starting at the Send A Smile 4 Kids Challenge. This is a wonderful monthly challenge that encourages participants to donate hand made cards that are distributed for children who are spending time in the hospital. If you would like to read more about what they do check out the details here.

This month the challenge is to create a kid’s winter themed card, but you are also free to link up any kid-appropriate card. Be sure to check out the challenge blog for some great ideas and inspiration from the rest of the design team!

The card I made uses a super cute set from Lawn Fawn. (You’ll probably be seeing a lot of Lawn Fawn cards for future challenges!) I love coloring the little images, and although I have die cuts for most of their sets, this one I cut by hand. I mounted my little scene on an embossed background and added a little glitter on the snow and the letters to finish it off!

Additional Challenges:

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #161 – Holiday Critters

Four Seasons Challenge – Winter

Crafty Catz #661 – anything goes

Pammie’s Inky Pinkies #2347 – anything goes

Passion for Markers #718 – Baby it’s cold outside!

  2. This winter scene so cute! I love the snowball fight which is perfect for kid’s winter cards! The snowflake sky background and the embossed background are beautiful!
