Send a Smile 4 Kids – Love/Valentine’s Day

Hello! I have a card to share today that is for the new challenge starting at the Send A Smile 4 Kids Challenge. This is a wonderful monthly challenge that encourages participants to donate hand made cards that are distributed for children who are spending time in the hospital. If you would like to read more about what they do check out the details here.

This month the challenge is to create a kid’s love/Valentine’s themed card, but you are also free to link up any kid-appropriate card. Be sure to check out the challenge blog for some great ideas and inspiration from the rest of the design team!

The Quick and Simple Details:

  • Background embossed with “Swiss Hearts” folder from Taylored Expressions
  • Arch/leaf die from Lawn Fawn
  • Mice stamp from Lawn Fawn

  1. Happy New Year, Melanie! Looks like our team has started its crafty new year off well. And I just adore your card: the colors, the embossing, your strong focal point, and those sweet little mice. It’s absolutely perfect!

  2. What an adorably sweet card, Melanie! I adore the mice, the embossed background, and especially that fabulous and intricate die cut panel! Nicely done!
