St. Patrick’s Day Card

It’s Festive Friday! We have a new challenge starting today, #FF0154. It’s also time time for a new challenge at Double Trouble Challenge (#161).

This is a special partnership so we hope you’ll play along with both!

At Festive Friday our festivity is St. Patrick’s Day, which is what the 10 items on the Inspo List were inspired by. If you would like to join the challenge just choose any 3 (or more) of those items to use on your card or project. Whether or not you follow the theme of the festivity is totally up to you!

At Double Trouble the only thing required to enter is the challenge from Thing 1 – to use green on your card. The optional twist by Thing 2 is to also include gold on your card or project and at least one other thing from the Inspo List. If you do that you can enter your creation at both challenges!

The Quick and Simple Details:

  • items from Inspo List: green, gold, shamrock, good luck sentiment
  • background stenciled half with green ink, half with gold embossing paste
  • added gold strip down center
  • die cut horseshoe and shamrock
  • finished with sentment

  1. Love the card, Melanie! Using embossing paste was a great idea to add texture and interest. I also noticed the way you summarized the creative steps. I may apply this idea to my blog. – Melanie R.
