Cut It Up! #298 – Dots and/or Stripes

My card today is as a guest designer for the new challenge at Cut It Up! (#298). This is a fun challenge that focuses on always including die cuts on your card or project, along with the given theme. This challenge has a theme of using dots and/or stripes. The challenge runs for two weeks, so for more details and the design team’s inspiration take a look over at their blog!

The Quick and Simple Details:

  • Background made by smooshing distress oxide inks on water color paper then cutting with a cover die from My Favorite Things
  • I cut the die a second time from white glitter paper and pieced all of the circles into the colored panel
  • The flowers and watering can were die cut, I have no memory of where they came from!
  • The sentiment was heat embossed and a tiny heart added to finish it off
