Double Trouble #163

It’s time to start a new challenge over at Double Trouble, we are back to starting on a Monday, and this challenge will go until April 14th.

This time Thing 1 is asking that you use kraft paper on your card or project.

Thing 3 is looking for using blue as your primary emphasis.

If you play along with Thing 2 by also using the inspirational photo below from our partner challenge, Inspriation Station #60 , they ask that you explain how it inspired you. I used a stamp from Hero Arts that I have had in my stash for a while that this photo inspired me to ink up for the first time!

The Quick and Simple Details:

  • Background from kraft paper and dry embossed
  • Image from Hero Arts, colored with Copic markers
  • Edges torn to fit on card base
  • Splattered with black paint

Joining these additional challenges:

Inspiration Station #60 – (see above)

Pinspirational #312 – Embossing

A Place to Start – anything goes + add some flowers

Crafty Catz #668 – anything goes + option to use an embossing folder

  1. Wow, what a beautiful detailed image and love the variety of blues you used for coloring. Globe looks great against the Kraft embossed background, and love the splattering, something I hardly ever do, but love.

  2. Gorgeous card!!! Thanks so much for participating in my PINSPIRATIONAL challenge!!! I appreciate that you play along and I enjoy visiting your blog!! Have a happy crafty day!! Deanne at A Little Bit O’ Paper

  3. So pretty! I love the dry embossing on the kraft paper and that stamp is so beautiful! Thank you for joining us over at the Inspiration Station Challenge this month!

  4. Love your card – a great take on our photo at Inspiration Station. I like the addition of the flowers to the globe and that sentiment is just perfect for our challenge.

  5. Lovely card! I love the texture of your embossed panel, and the color combination is good. Thanks so much for sharing with us at A Place to Start!
