“Framed” for Seize the Birthday

Welcome to the party! Today I am joining the design team at Seize the Birthday (#218) as their surprise party guest. The theme for this new challenge is “framed.” You can use that as inspiration when creating your card, but you also have the option to make any card you want, as long as it is for a birthday. Check out the blog for all the details!

I tried something a little new to me with this card. The dog stamp is from Gerda Steiner Designs, but in real life the image was not as big as it is on my card, so I decided to make it bigger by stamping and then enlarging the image on my printer. I have done this with digital stamps, but never with a regular stamp. Turned out to be pretty easy and gives more options for some of my smaller stamps! (I did the same thing with the cat image on the card below, that one is from Jane’s Doodles.)
